Wedderburn Lions ClubWedderburn is a Victorian rural town with a population of aproximately 800 people situated on the Calder Highway, 75 klms north west of Bendigo. Our Lions Club was established in 1978 and currently has a membership of twenty two, which includes three females. We are located at the Mechanics Institute Hall, Cnr High Street and Reef Street, Wedderburn, Victoria 3518. Club MeetingsThe club meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month. The first Wednesday of the month is a business meeting which commences at 7:30 p m. during winter months, and 8:00 p.m. during the daylight saving period. The second Wednesday is a dinner meeting which commences at 7:30 p.m. throughout the year. Meetings are very productive and always seem to include a generous dose of humour and laughter. They generally close around 9:00 p.m. after which members are welcome to sit back, relax, have a drink and socialise for a while. Wedderburn Lions club is a great way to not only spend your Wednesday nights, but also to participate in community projects and help to make a difference to our town.
